Former student Timur Bekmansurov has been sentenced to life in prison in Russia for killing six people at Perm State University in 2021. The sentence was handed down on December 28 by the Perm regional court. Bekmansurov was found guilty on all charges -- the murder of one man and five women, the attempted murder of another 59 people, damage to property, and threatening the life of a policeman.
