Germany Calls For Special Tribunal Against Russia Over Ukraine War

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock called on January 16 for the establishment of a special international tribunal to prosecute Russian leaders over Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. She said Russia cannot be prosecuted for its aggression before the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, as it can deal only with cases in which both parties are members of the court or a case is referred by the UN Security Council.
