Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has voiced his "disgust" at the global media for its graphic coverage of ousted Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi's death.
Russian news agencies quoted Putin as telling an election campaign meeting that "there is nothing good" in all world channels showing Qaddafi's gruesome end.
He also said, "People within the [journalistic] community should understand what they are doing better and bear some sort of moral responsibility."
Putin's remarks come amid widespread disquiet over how Qaddafi met his end at the hands of Libyan rebel fighters.
