Ukraine’s Air Force reported intercepting seven of 10 cruise missiles that Russia fired from the Black Sea toward the region of Lviv at around 1 a.m.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said around 60 apartments and 50 cars were damaged.

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian war refugees have sought safety in Lviv from other areas of the war-torn country.

At least 10 people were killed and many wounded overnight on July 5-6 following the largest attack on Lviv’s civilian infrastructure since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine last year. The attack destroyed entire floors of a residential building, leaving the streets below covered in rubble.
