Soccer coach Fabio Capello says he has not been paid as head of Russia's national team for the last five months.
Capello, an Italian, said he is "getting close to the limit" of his patience with the Russian Football Union for the nonpayment of his wages.
The veteran coach, who has also coached England's national team and superstar club Real Madrid, reportedly earns $11 million per year.
Capello said he hopes the problem -- which he was told is due to a cash shortage within Russia's football association -- is resolved soon.
Russia's soccer team performed poorly at the World Cup in Brazil this summer, failing to advance from the group stage.
Russia also suffered a shock draw with Moldova in Moscow on October 12.
Capello is under contract with Russia until the country hosts the 2018 World Cup.
