Serbian Voters Skeptical About Repeated Belgrade Elections

Local elections were held in 89 cities and towns across Serbia on June 2. The voting in the capital, Belgrade, was a rerun of controversial elections from December, in which international observers reported irregularities and the opposition accused the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) of vote rigging. Belgrade voters speaking to RFE/RL expressed lukewarm enthusiasm and low expectations for the repeat vote.
