The annual LGBT Pride parade was held in the Serbian capital for the 11th time on September 9. Organizers said it was the most attended so far. Police cordoned off protesters waving Serbian Orthodox symbols. Unlike previous years, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, who lives in a lesbian relationship, did not take part. President Aleksandar Vucic has declared he will never sign a bill recognizing same-sex couples.
