Serbian LGBT Activists Protest Over Reported Police Abuse

Members of the LGBT community demonstrated in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, on March 6 following reports of police abuse. Activists say two LGBT individuals were subjected to abuse, torture, and sexual harassment during a police search of their apartment on February 26, and accused officials of delaying taking action. Police said they were investigating the incident.
