Serbia says it is ready to talk about the division of Kosovo, whose independence it has vowed never to recognize.
Belgrade's chief negotiator, Borko Stefanovic, said in an interview published today in the daily newspaper "Blic" that "Serbia's negotiating team is not resisting the possibility of talking about the division of Kosovo."
Belgrade has hinted in the past that it could support a division, with Kosovo's Serbian-majority north being attached to Serbia.
The government in Pristina has repeatedly rejected such a possibility, insisting that Kosovo has to be preserved within its current borders.
