Shi'ite Muslims Mark Ashura Amid Ongoing Security Concerns

Shi'a across the Muslim world continued to commemorate Ashura on October 12 amid ongoing security concerns. In Afghanistan, security was tight a day after a deadly attack on a religious shrine in Kabul. Security forces in Pakistan also kept a close watch on Ashura commemorations.
