Ukrainian PM Says Kyiv Gets 4.2 Billion Euros From EU

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said on August 13 that his country had received another 4.2 billion euros ($4.6 billion) from the European Union's Ukraine Facility program. Shmyhal stressed that the money will be spent to support Ukraine's social and humanitarian sectors as part of the country's efforts to resist Russia's ongoing invasion launched in February 2022.
