Two astronauts from the space shuttle Discovery left the International Space Station today for the first spacewalk of their 11-day mission.
During the planned nearly seven-hour spacewalk, Steve Bowen and Alvin Drew are to move a failed ammonia cooling pump and install a power extension cable and camera equipment.
