A suicide bomber blew himself up at a Kurdish political gathering in eastern Iraq, killing 30 people and injuring 50 others.
The attack on April 28 occurred in the town of Khanaqin, some 140 kilometers northeast of Baghdad.
The victims had gathered in the mostly Kurdish town to celebrate the television appearance of Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, a Kurd, who has been incapacitated since late 2012.
Talabani is in Germany where he is receiving treatment after a stroke.
He was shown casting a vote ahead of Iraq's parliamentary elections this week.
Iraq has faced increasing violence in the run-up to the April 30 elections, which will be the first national vote since the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces in late 2011.
