A suicide attack has killed at least five people in southern Afghanistan's Kandahar Province.
A spokesman for NATO's ISAF mission, Adam Wojack, said the dead included three Afghan national security forces troops, one coalition service member, and one coalition-forces civilian.
Kandahar provincial spokesman Jawed Faisal said the attacker was on foot and detonated his explosives-filled vest at a checkpoint close to an office of the Afghan intelligence agency in Maruf district.
