Afghan officials say all three attacks -- two by suicide bombers -- occurred in Kandahar city on January 3.
In the bloodiest incident, four children and a police officer were killed when a suicide bomber ignited his explosives near a police checkpoint.
There has been no claim of responsibility for any of the bombings.
