U.S.-Backed Syrian Forces Battle To Retake Raqqa

Following the capture of a landmark clock tower, U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces pushed further into the city of Raqqa on August 24. The U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported heavy fighting in the center of the city.
