Zubaidulloh Roziq, an 80-year-old former member of Tajikistan's banned Islamic Renaissance Party (IRPT), has been moved from a prison hospital back to jail despite his ill-health and advanced age, relatives say. Roziq's son, Hisomiddin, said on September 20 that his father, who suffers from a heart condition, was hospitalized in August. Roziq was arrested in a government clampdown on the IRPT in 2015, when the main opposition party was banned and branded a "terrorist organization."
