Thousands of civilians fled from eastern Aleppo after Syrian government forces drove rebels from six strategic districts of the city. Families carrying small children streamed into the Kurdish-held enclave of Sheikh Maqsoud in the northern part of Aleppo on November 27. The U.K.-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said around 10,000 civilians fled eastern Aleppo over a two-day period. (Reuters)
