The NATO-led international force in Afghanistan says three of its soldiers have been killed by an improvised explosive device in eastern Afghanistan.
The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) statement did not specify the location of the attack on May 7 or the nationalities of the dead soldiers.
The deaths bring total ISAF combat losses in Afghanistan this year to 142.
Also on May 7, the Afghan government criticized the Taliban's recently declared "spring offensive," saying it is un-Islamic and "cowardly."
The Interior Ministry statement condemned the Taliban for "distorting holy religious values to justify their criminal activities" and killing thousands of civilians.
