Six Reported Killed In U.S. Missile Strike In Pakistan

Six suspected militants have been killed in the latest U.S. drone strike inside Pakistan.

Reports say the October 15 strike targeted a compound in Angor Adda, South Waziristan.

The militants were believed to have been linked to local militant commander Maulvi Nazir, who is accused of working with the Taliban and Al-Qaeda.

According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, which monitors the strikes, it was the 300th U.S. drone attack on alleged militants in Pakistan's tribal areas.

The Associated Press reports there have been more than 50 strikes so far this year, most of them in the North Waziristan region, where the Haqqani network is based.
