U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that if elected, he would work closely with NATO to defeat the Islamic State militant group, reversing earlier statements in which he called the alliance obsolete. In a foreign policy speech in Youngstown, Ohio, Trump blamed the policy decisions of President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for fostering the growth of the Islamic State group.
