Thousands of protesters remain on central Taksim Square in Istanbul as protests against Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan entered an 11th day.
Erdogan warned protesters on June 9 that his patience has its limits and compared the unrest with an army attempt six years ago to curb his power.
Erdogan said his future will be determined not in the street but at the ballot box.
Riot police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse antigovernment protesters from a square in the capital, Ankara, just a few kilometers from where Erdogan spoke.
Three people have been killed and around 5,000 injured in the unrest.
Protests have been held in 78 cities across the country since May 31, sparked by a violent police crackdown on a peaceful protest against plans to develop a park in Istanbul.
