At Least Six Dead, 45 Injured In Train Collision Near Moscow

A collision between a cargo train and a passenger train near Moscow has killed at least six people and left up to 45 injured.

The Emergencies Ministry said 15 of the injured were in serious condition.

The accident happened earlier on May 20 between the towns of Bekasovo and Naro-Fominsk, about 80 kilometers southwest of Moscow.

The cause of the accident was not immediately known. Officials said a criminal probe had been launched.

The passenger train had been traveling from Moscow to Chisinau, Moldova.
