Ukraine's Foreign Ministry says it has prepared a list of international doctors who will be invited to conduct an independent examination of jailed former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
Prison officials said a group of health professionals from Canada, Germany, and the International Committee of the Red Cross will be invited to examine Tymoshenko.
No date has been set for the examinations.
Tymoshenko has been jailed since October and is serving a seven-year term after being convicted of abuse of office in connection with a Russian gas deal when she was prime minister.
Tymoshenko's supporters have complained of failing health and requested an independent examination.
