Former President Donald Trump has named Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his vice presidential running mate. W. Joseph Campbell, a professor emeritus of communications at American University, told RFE/RL that Vance has been highly critical of U.S. aid to Ukraine, and said the choice sends a signal about Trump's future policies toward Ukraine if reelected.
