UN Confirms 9,177 Civilian Deaths In Ukraine Since Start Of Russia's Invasion

The United Nations has confirmed the deaths of 9,177 civilians in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale invasion. The UN’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights said on July 7 that 535 children are among the dead. The office has also confirmed 15,993 injuries, including 1,095 children, it said in a news release. The deaths and injuries were recorded in 1,504 settlements in Ukraine between the start of the invasion in February 2022 and June 30, 2023.
