The Ukrainian Prosecutor-General's Office said on February 13 that the Anti-Corruption High Court has nationalized assets in Ukraine belonging to Russian oligarch and former lawmaker Ivan Savvidi. The nationalized assets include all the shares of the PentoPak packaging company and its subsidiaries, commercial buildings, vehicles, and over $1 million cash in bank accounts in the name of the companies in question. The Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigation said Savvidi is suspected of money laundering and financing activities aimed at seizing power in Ukraine. Savvidi holds dual Russian-Greek citizenship.
