Dnieper Dam Breach Unleashes Floods In Southern Ukraine

Ukraine has accused Moscow of blowing up a major dam on the Dnieper River in a Russian-occupied area of southern Ukraine. Tens of thousands of people downstream from the Nova Kakhovka dam have been ordered to evacuate, with the area threatened by massive flooding. Drone footage shared by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's office on June 6 showed water surging through the remains of the dam.
