Two Ukrainian lawmakers traded punches at the parliament building on February 12 after disagreeing over a bill on land ownership. Security guards stepped in to break up the fight between Yehor Sobolyev of the Samopomich (Self-Assistance) political alliance and Vadym Ivchenko of the Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) party. The speaker of parliament said the two lawmakers would be suspended from the parliament's next five sessions. (RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service)
