The leader of Ukraine's populist Radical Party was nearly knocked out in the Verkhovna Rada's lobby on August 14 after he accused a fellow deputy of ignoring the plight of soldiers fighting in the country's east. Oleh Lyashko, who came third in July's presidential elections, appeared stunned after a heated exchange with independent deputy Oleksandr Shevchenko led to Shevchenko punching him in the face. "Look at this pot-bellied fatty. You need to go to Donbas," Lyashko said to Shevchenko before getting hit in the jaw. (Reuters)
