Poroshenko Ends Cease-Fire

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said government forces will renew their offensive against pro-Russian separatists. In a late-night statement on Ukrainian television following the expiration of a cease-fire to allow for peace talks with the rebels, Poroshenko said the resumption of military operations was the government's "response to terrorists, militants, and marauders" in Ukraine's east.
