Ukrainian Women Overcome Fear And Prejudice To Keep The Mines Open

Six hundred miners were conscripted into the Ukrainian Army from a mine 370 meters underground near Pavlohrad in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region. Women have filled many of the gaps after the government changed the law to allow women to work underground in a bid to keep the mines working.
