Ukraine's aspirations for European integration are expected to dominate today's talks between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his Polish counterpart, Bronislaw Komorowski.
The two leaders are to meet in the Baltic seaside resort of Jurata, in northern Poland.
Poland's PAP news agency said the two leaders were expected to discuss how Poland -- which currently holds the six-month rotating EU presidency -- could help Ukraine in its bid for an association agreement.
Polish media reports said the Polish leader could raise the issue of the arrest in Ukraine of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko earlier this month during a trial in which she faces charges of abuse of office.
The EU has voiced "concern" over Tymoshenko's arrest.
