The United States is "disappointed" with Iran's failure to cooperate with the UN nuclear agency's investigation into suspected nuclear weapons research.
Ambassador Laura Kennedy, the U.S. envoy to the UN's Vienna-based International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said on November 17 that a report from the IAEA on November 7 showed Iran was failing to address suspicions it might have been working to build an atomic bomb.
Tehran says it has no such ambitions and is developing nuclear power for civilian use only.
Kennedy said the United States was "disappointed" that Iran has not cooperated fully with the IAEA investigation.
Kennedy said she would convey U.S. "concerns with Iran's failure to engage substantively" with the IAEA in a statement to the IAEA's 35-nation board of governors when it convenes on November 20.
