U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson cast doubt on Tehran's commitment to maintaining good neighborly relations in the region in keeping with requirements under the nuclear deal struck by Iran and six other countries in 2015. Tillerson was speaking at a news briefing in Washington on August 1. Known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the accord is aimed at preventing Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon. In return, Tehran won relief from international economic sanctions. U.S. President Donald Trump has been critical of the arrangement. (Reuters)
