U.S. Designates North Korea As Terror Sponsor

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on November 20 that "the United States is designating North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism." Trump was speaking at a cabinet meeting at the White House in Washington, D.C.. "As we take this action today, our thoughts turn to Otto Warmbier," Trump said in a reference to a U.S. student who was held prisoner in North Korea for 17 months and died shortly upon his return to the United States in June.
