U.S, Japan, S.Korea Meet On 'Grave' North Korea Concerns

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton cited "grave concerns" over "provocative attacks from North Korea."

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has met with her Japanese and South Korean counterparts in Washington, saying they shared "grave concerns" over "provocative attacks from North Korea."

The meeting with South Korea's Kim Sung-Hwan and Japan's Seiji Maehara comes two weeks after North Korea's deadly attack on a South Korean island.

In a telephone call late on December 5, U.S. President Barack Obama urged Chinese President Hu Jintao to work with the United States and others to send "a clear message" to North Korea that its provocations are "unacceptable."
