Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoev of Uzbekistan and Sergio Mattarella of Italy issued a joint statement in Tashkent on the development of a partnership and cooperation between the two nations, the Uzbek presidential press service said on November 10. The presidents also signed agreements on cooperation in such spheres as education, science, technologies, innovations, and sports, as well as an intergovernmental agreement of visa waiving for holders of diplomatic passports.
