The billboard is referencing a famous rebuke from Ukrainian soldiers to a Russian ship demanding they surrender at the start of the invasion in late February. At bottom left of the photo a hand-drawn sign warns of mines.

One of the two railway bridges on the billboard is visible at the top of this image. Both bridges were destroyed during the opening days of the Russian invasion, but one has already been repaired. A soldier prevented pictures of the bridge being taken when RFE/RL visited.

The affluent city, located just northwest of Kyiv suffered widespread destruction during its occupation by Russian forces. The bridge in the billboard was destroyed, apparently by Ukrainian forces, to halt the Russian advance.
