Dozens of displaced tribesmen protested with traditional dancing in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar on February 4. The tribesmen were uprooted from the North Waziristan tribal district bordering Afghanistan following the launch of an anti-Taliban operation by Pakistan in June 2014. They say the monthly government allowance and rations they had received since their displacement have been suspended. They also demanded they be allowed to return to their native towns and villages.
