Hanna Chernenko

Hanna Chernenko is a freelance correspondent for RFE/RL's Ukrainian Service in Kharkiv. She joined RFE/RL in 2023. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, she actively covered the course of hostilities in the region, filmed the consequences of shelling, and reported from the de-occupied settlements of the region. For her work during the war, she was awarded the Order of Merit (Third Class).
