Our Radio Farda’s Music Team is seeking an intern for remote (online) or in-house (in Prague's Headquarters) cooperation on daily tasks and production in the Music team. The intern will assist with creative writing for audio production (podcasts and radio shows), producing Social Media content (for Music), and working on visual elements for Radio Farda Music’s Social Media. The internship will last from 9-15 weeks. Days per week are flexible and depend on the agreement with the mentor and the student’s schedule. However, the intern is expected to dedicate around 20-24 hours per week to the internship.
You will learn:
- About the work of the Radio Farda’s Music Team.
- About audio editing and playlist management.
- How to prepare creative writing for audio production and cross-platform production.
- How to do the music research for broadcast production.
- About copyright and licensing for music production.
Minimum requirements are:
- Enrolled university student or recent graduate – must be in good standing.
- An educational background and/or experience in media, arts, design, music, or other related field to the cultural scene of Iranian society.
- Fluent in Farsi and English.
- Knowledge of Iranian music is an advantage.
- Experience with audio and visual editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Photoshop, etc.).
- Experience in creative writing for music production is an advantage.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and to work independently.
- Interest and awareness in news and current affairs from RFE/RL’s broadcast regions.
