We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for Pangea’s applications, including our bespoke Content Management System (CMS), responsive websites, mobile applications, and other products. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in test automation, experience in UI/E2E tests mainly using Robot Framework with Selenium Library.
As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will work closely with other QA engineers, developers, DevOps team, product managers, and to ensure the high quality of our software products. You will build and maintain scalable test frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous testing effort. This role suits someone with strong software development skills, a focus on quality, and a passion for automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests across Pangea’s applications.
- Focus primarily on UI/E2E automation testing, ensuring robust coverage of regression test scenarios
- Contribute to the development of functional tests, validating that critical services work seamlessly together.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
- Maintain test environments, and ensure automated tests run consistently across test environments
- Identify areas for test improvement, implementing best practices and driving initiatives for test coverage expansion.
- Analyze test results and work with developers to ensure quick resolution of defects.
- Document and track test cases, defects and execution results, providing insights and reports to the team.
- Advocate for quality and test automation in every stage of the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field or minimum 3+ years of experience in test automation
- Minimum 2 years of experience using Robot Framework
- Proficiency in Python, Robot Framework and Selenium Library
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
- Strong knowledge of test automation best practices and the ability to design scalable testing frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Beneficial knowledge:
- Experience with performance and stress testing tools (JMeter, Grafana k6, etc.).
- Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman, Requests library)
- Experience with containerized environments and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms or environments (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience working in a DevOps-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of continuous testing principles and test integration in CI/CD pipelines.
Languages:
- Czech language working knowledge oral + written (desirable)
- English language proficient (mandatory)
