The woman was giving testimony at the ongoing trial in Baghdad of Ali Hasan al-Majid, known as "Chemical Ali," and 14 other former aides of the executed former Iraqi dictator.
Speaking from behind a curtain to protect her identity, the woman accused Saddam's army of arresting her family members and later said al-Majid himself had killed her two sons.
The 15 are on trial for crimes against humanity over their alleged roles in the deaths of up to 100,000 Shi'ites following a 1991 rebellion.
