Afghan Blast Kills Dozens

A suicide attack on an Afghan Army recruitment center in the northern province of Konduz on March 14 killed at least 36 people and wounded many more. On March 11, the Konduz Province police chief was killed by a suicide bomber. The province has become increasingly unstable over the last few years as the Taliban have infiltrated the area.
