Prominent Azerbaijani Writer Stabbed In Baku

RFE/RL's Azerbaijani Service reports that Tagi was attacked on his way home, and that he is currently in hospital. Tagi's relatives said he has at least five knife wounds to his back and neck. A doctor at the hospital was quoted as saying after surgery that Tagis injuries were bad but not life-threatening. There was no immediate comment from police
