A Russian passenger plane crash in Western Siberia on April 2 killed 31 of the 43 people on board. The mid-range ATR-72 French-Italian turboprop, belonging to the Russian airline UTair, burst into flames when it crashed shortly after takeoff from the Russian city of Tyumen.
