Adviser On Controversial Muhammad Film: 'No Blood On My Hands'
Angry protests that erupted in Libya, Egypt, and elsewhere this week were apparently sparked by Muslim anger about a low-budget film, produced in the United States, that mocks the Prophet Muhammad. Steven Klein says he acted as an adviser in the making of the film, and claims to be "an expert on Islamic issues." But a nongovernmental organization that tracks hate crimes, the Southern Poverty Law Center, says that Klein has ties to right-wing extremists. (Reuters)
