Soyuz Reaches Space Station After Speedy Six-Hour Journey
A Russian Soyuz space capsule has reached the International Space Station after a six-hour flight from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The spacecraft delivered three new crew members, two Russians and an American, to the space station, where they will spend six months. Three other crew members now on board the space station are set to leave in November. It was the third time a Soyuz spacecraft has taken a short route to the space station; on previous missions, the journey was spread out over two days. (Reuters)
