OSCE Diplomat Sees 'Opportunity For Peace' In Nagorno-Karabakh
U.S. diplomat James Warlick, a co-chair of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, has said that there is a "window of opportunity" for a resolution between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region. In an interview with RFE/RL's Azerbaijani Service and Azerbaijan's APA news agency in Baku, Warlick said that the cease-fire in the region is fragile, but that incidents have decreased and the time is right for an active effort to reach a peaceful settlement.
